We need to talk!

Actually I need to teach you a few things. Therefore starting next Saturday I am starting my Veretekk Super Boot Camp at 11am PST.

1. Keyword searching. It is important to identify and target an effective keyword for you particular needs.

2. Buying the keyword domain and setting up a keyword Veretekk account.

3. Hosting your domain

Get your own email address. Email is getting harder and harder to rely on when you use a third party for email. IE: AOL, Yahoo, Google, Hotmail, ISP etc.

I use knownhost for my hosting account and Dotster for my domains.

4. FTP the File Transfer Protocol so you can upload files to your websites. I use WS-FTP you can download it here.

5. Wordpress. How to upload Wordpress, configure it, ad plugins so you can subscribe your Veretekk rss feeds to your WP blog.

6. Proper blogging techniques. It is all about content and clean code. I use Edit Plus you can download it here.

7. Swarming your portals and building backlinks.

Visualization Marketing

I like to use the term Visualization Marketing which very well describes the art and science of visualizing your success in any endeavor that you might choose to approach on Google. I began my journey with visualization marketing years ago. I found on Google, a series of well written articles by none other than the famous Bill Gates. I read his articles and became intensely interested in this thing called visualization marketing.

I believe that visualization is the first step in achieving desired success. You must first visualize your sucess. This sets up a strategic series of events that will lead to that inevitable process. You have probably heard of The Secret many times. Everyone says that you must see The Secret. In all actuality, there is no real secret to visualization. It is simply the act of thinking about what you wish to accomplish. You envision this and thereby, you have setup these events to become reality.

When I speak to others about visualization, this can act as the opposite just as effectively. If you are consistently thinking that you cannot be successful, cannot make money, cannot pay your bills and that you cannot achieve any type of success, then you will be exactly right. Your self talk can be your best friend, or your worst enemy.

When I hear people say, and believe you me, I hear this statement many times per week, "I cannot make any money online." They have set themselves up for failure. Conversely, if you maintain a positive approach to the art and science of wealth creation, and visualize your success, then you will achieve that.

It is a universal law of life that states what we think is what we become. When you think can't, won't, shouldn't or any other negatives, that is exactly what you will get. Its time to begin to understand that any, and all, success that you have, begins with your self talk. Until you grab hold of this one universal principle. you are destined to fail time after time, both in real life and in an online business as well.

You may be thinking right now that this is some type of Anthony Robbins mumbo jumbo. It is not. It costs you absolutley nothing, and will prove to you that it works, and will work every single time. Each business that you are now involved with either has success because of your core thoughts, or failure, because of the way that you are envisioning your business.

In my search engine optimization business, the first step that I take with any new seo client is that I will sit and visuaize exactly where I want this campaign to go on Google. This is the process that I use before I actually go to work with any online business or corporation. I visualize my success with the seo campaign, and it will prove to be successful..

My suggestions for the Veretekk Platinum System

1.Gear it towards use for our own systems as well as our seo clients.

2.Make it capable to produce blogger drones for use in swarming Google.

3.Place a limit on the Veretekk golds that we can place there. Additional systems can be added for a fee.

4.Place specific training on the care and use of the Platinum System. I feel that people should be certified before even being able to purchase the system. If this does not occur, I can see problems is some unknowing user plague the system with junk on Google.

5.Setup some type of monitoring on these Platinum Systems. This way, if people are found misusing the system, they get immediately terminated.

6.Since this will be only for business professionals that will be utilizing Veretekk for maximum use, it should be stated very clearly that you reserve the right to distribute this to anyone without them being fully certified.

7.Provide a snipped that tells whether a person is qualified.

8.I think an addition of a press release service included in here would be of tremendous value. It will take a while to get that off the ground, but the more content we place there, the stronger that it will become.

9.Veretekk is moving into an entirely new era in my opinion. This system is about to become known as the best of the best. Our trainings should be geared to that mentality, and that only. We are only looking for committed and dedicated individuals who are willing to strive for excellence in their online businesses.

These are a few ideas I have. I know that you guys are working consistently hard. If I come across any other valuable information or techniques, I will pass them along to you. By the way, put me first on the list for the Platinum System!

I have rebuilt the Bully Pulpit database to run from a master server and slave server SQL system. This will make your Bully Pulpit load like lightening.

Another small delay We had to order a different drive array card. It has been shipped and should be at the colo this Monday. We will keep you posted. This is a very big project and is needed to bring on the Platinum Control Panel now as well.

Now we are in the process of getting the database running on this new server!

Top 5 Reason's to write a Press Release

You probably already know this, but sometimes it's nice to have a reminder of what you should be doing to get results in your business. Successful Business's have been using freee press since the invention of the printing press. Just yesterday while listening to Joe Vitale's newest online video, (posted on my Barefoot Marketing Strategies Blog) it hit me it's been a few years since I've talked about the power of press releases.

Now, let me ask you a question... Can you honestly say you are using press releases to their fullest potential in your business? I decided it was time to share my top 5 reasons for writing press releases.

1. Organic Traffic
This is probably the most obvious one. If your press release is well optimized, it can be ranked in google on 2 to 3 days in the orangic listings. Generally it shows first day under the Google news and other news feeds.

2. Bloggers & Social Network Audience
Many bloggers suscribe to online press release distribution services like PRWeb. (this is a content writing hint) If your press release interests them, they might blog about it and link to your press release. If you consistantly reach out to this audience, you can get significant links, traffic and sales from this.

3. Traffic from Traditional Media
If your press release interests journalists, they will follow up with you and write a story about your business. This will most certainly lead to a burst of website traffic and sales. Did you know journalists are starting to hang out on social network sites looking for a good story? I noticed this trend in my market research of social networks.

4. Link Building
Be sure to put your important keywords linked to your revelant pages on your website. When the press release is distributed some of these links will be picked up by other news feeds.

5. Reputation Control
If someone has criticized your business, one sure way to get the criticsm off the first page of Google search results is to do mutiple press releases.
